As other schools, the Nugal Primary and Secondary School uses the Ministry of Education & Higher Education prepared curriculum. Such curriculum was officially published in 2015 under the direction of MOE Puntland. Previously, there was no a single agreed curriculum in the land. The curriculum used in NPSS was a blend of UNESCO-Peer prepared one together with a Kenyan one, intended for the post-civil-war years.
The Nugal school was established as an independent school in 2007 and consists of a primary, an elementary and a secondary with a population of almost 2000 pupils consisting of boys and girls across three levels ranging from 6 years to 18 years old
The development objective of this endeavour is to establish a fully functioning, qualitative primary and secondary level schooling for the community.
Provide quality education to the school student population, create student-friendly educational environs, and select and maintain a strong body of teaching staff made up of both genders and a school management to implement and fulfil the educational activities that this effort requires.
Connect alumni with mentors or coaches who can offer them guidance, advice, or feedback on their personal or professional goals, They can also help them expand their network.
